Greater Horseshoe Bat
Greater Horseshoe Bat (Rhinolophus ferrumequinum),
hibernating.
Bat of the Rhinolophus genus, it is distinguished
for having the oldest recorded age for any european bat, with a bat living for over 30 years.
Greater Horseshoe Bat is also the largest of the European Horseshoe Bats.
Local name is Veliki potkovnjak
