GRINNEL GLACIER OVER GRINNEL LAKE-GLACIER NP-MT

A couple of boat trips and a short walk brings you to the fabulous view of Grinnel Lake and the cliffs below Grinnel Glacier. This image was taken in July, 2008. The high trail, which I have hiked, was still closed due to snow conditions. Incidentally, the walk to this viewpoint takes you over a great suspension bridge. be sure to take some time to admire the colored pebbles on the stream bed.
