Route Climbed: Continental Divide from Loveland Pass Date Climbed: April 27, 2003
Got to meet the esteemable Ken Nolan during this hike, which was a treat. An otherwise uneventful but fun day. Don't forget to summit UN 13,117 on the way there or on the way back! It's a ranked 13er. A trip report is available here.
Route Climbed: Loveland Pass Date Climbed: 5/18/2002
We originally started out to hike Sniktau and Grizzly and luckily someone had the idea to skip Sniktau otherwise it would have taken a lot longer. We had a large and sometimes slow moving group with us. It was probably too early in the hiking season to be up so high given our level of fitness at the time. Enjoyable hike despite the wind to deal with. Of course I think every hike is enjoyable so what do I know?

It was a beautiful day, with clear skies, but it was very windy and cold at the summit. There was a mountain goat wandering around near the top. I was a little worried that he might try to defend his territory, but he didn't. I didn't see any other hikers headed for Grizzly, which was a pleasant surprise.
