Great day!
We summitted Guadalupe Peak via the North Ridge with about 2.5 hours of daylight left and decided to tack on El Cap, then descend the Guadalupe Peak Trail in the dark. The El Cap side trip was 100% type 1 fun despite the pressure of the setting sun. We made it back up to the GP Trail just after sunset and descended to Pine Springs uneventfully.
