Last pitch of the peakWhat is the last part like on Hall? Scramble? Looks like a 2-3. Did you use rope? It's on my list this summer.

Re: Last pitch of the peakWe actually ascended via the Big Four/Hall Peak saddle (won't ever do that again), and came down via the recommended route. The upper part of the mountain is very straightforward - just some steep snow in places. It looks like it would be miserably brushy in late season. The hardest part of Hall Peak is at the start of the climb. We used a 100' 8mm rope as a handline on the descent on a few parts of this section. As you start the climb, you should see survey tape and a couple of cheap ropes if you are on route.
