Oh man

This one makes me wish for summer to get here. Nice shot.

Re: Oh man

Thanks I guess you guys had quite a bit of ice and snow. The weather channel had something about Victoria or Vancouver B.C. and 2 inches of ice! Brian Jenkins said there was lots of snow in Porland Ore.

Re: Oh man

Yes, we've had a ton of snow, which is unusual for this part of the country. In fact, here in Kennewick (eastern washington, we haven't had any snow since 1996. Here are two pics of what things looked like

1. One week ago

2. Today

It is the ice that makes things trecherous for those who don't have studded tires or don't know how to drive in the stuff. A car down the street from me got stuck on a snowplowed berm in his driveway and in trying to get the vehicle out, it caught on fire and burned up. Weird.

Re: Oh man

About 10 years ago we had this ice storm from hell.

It was early February-ice is usually in March or April in these parts..

We had at least 2 inches of ice and I ice skated a 1.2 mile walk on frozen sidewalks for at least a week.

An elderly surgeon and his wife had the habit of watching deer at their country pond. There was a slight slope to that pond and their vehicle with them inside slowly slid into the pond. Very sad.
