It certainly seems that way. I know a number of people who wanted nothing but to live there and see all the changes this incredible place goes through with changes of the seasons.
Winter time is really my favorite time of the year to visit Yosemite.

I was just lucky to catch this view at the right time. There was snow on the ground and the river was running smoothly to produce a good reflection.
