Remains of one of the two Hellcats that crashed into the south face of Mount Baldy in 1949 during a snowstorm. It can be found in Good Canyon at around 9,200 feet of elevation. December 2008

Hellcat Plane Wreck

Dude...I totally saw that wreck last time I was there..I was on the Hut trail to the summit and looked at the wreckage..very cool...I thought it was some old plane/Helicopter crash..
