High above the Valsavarenche...
High above the Valsavarenche valley, on the way from Vittorio Emanuele II hut (2734m) towards Gran Paradiso (4061m) (normal route).
Behind is part of the long crest which divides Valsavarenche from Val di Rhemes valley (section around Punta Bianca (3427m)).
