On the side above the...
On the side above the Valsavarenche valley, opposite of Gran Paradiso group main crest.
High above are Gran Paradiso (4061m) (2km above the valley floor!) and Ciarforon (3642m). Left below is one of the many waterfalls that are thundering towards valley floor. This one is draining Moncorve glacier which is hidden on the huge plateau between these two peaks and invisible Tresenta (3609m).
