high Gros Ventres

A view of the some of the high Gros Ventre Peaks. Here are some of my favorite summits in the world. Long trail approachs, lead to long bushwacks, then miles of above timerline scrambling. Some of the peaks take a very long day to reach. There are very little signs of people in these mountains. Hunting season is the only time with any notable traffic. Even then you are still mostly alone when hiking to the high summits.
