Hinterer Brochkogel - North Ridge

Hinterer Brochkogel - north ridge (from Taschachferner; May 25, 2006) The crux of the route up the north ridge is getting past the rock which lies across the upper part of the ridge. You have to pass it on the right. The ledge is very narrow and a piece of rock sticks out from the side into your way. The snow-covered slope below the ledge, which some people use, is very steep. The terrain further down is rocky and very steep too.
