Only one on the Mountain
It was a cold snowy day, and I had the mountain all to myself. Not a soul in sight.

Agassiz and then Humphreys
Did this in the winter so we could do both 12,000 foot Arizona Peaks in one trip. Met with the rangers and got our permits first for climbing both peaks. Great long day!

Humphrey's
Awesome hike. Got to the top around 9am, first one up. No wind on the summit, at all. Hung out on top for over a half hour in very pleasant conditions. I passed several groups on the way down getting back to the TH a little after 11. The snow packed trail through the forest to the saddle is very easy to walk on and follow right now. Made for a quick trip, which is a good thing as I had a long drive back to SL after words.

Windy Humphrey's
Summitted in 3 hours. Windy and cool on peak with limited views due to clouds/haze.

Great weather in July, no bugs. Very windy at top. Bring more water than you think you need.

Three times here when I was finally able to reach the summit. All attempts before were stopped by T-storms and hail storms.

From Snowbowl Trailhead
Nice hike in autumn-forrest. Windy at the ridge to the summit. Strong wind at about 50 - 60 mph at the last 100 ft elevation to the summit. Due to wind-chill in the wind i stay only 5 minutes at the top.
I enjoy the views in the surroundig from this freestanding mountain.
Complete trips needs 6 h.
Yet another hike up to Humphrey's Peak. Love the views on the weatherford trail best but the snowbowl side is always great for an impromptu trek.

Enjoyed this summit with my wife, we camped at the Flagstaff KOA (half hour from the trailhead) the night before and after. We were able to see Flagstaff, Sunset Crater, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon from the top!
I logged 10.4 miles with 3000' ele. gain round trip with my GPS.

What a difference a day makes
I arrived on the 16th and clouds obscured the top and there were thunderstorms.
I hiked the next day in almost perfect weather. I started early and the views were great. Could easily see the north rim of the Grand Canyon.
My 12th high point.

Great weather!
Had great weather all day though a bit windy and chilly at the saddle. Views weren't that great because it was a bit hazy towards the North. Overall a great and fun hike.

Highpoint #15
Part of a loop through the SW to catch Wheeler (NM) and Humphrey's with a few days of vacation that I had. This was my second attempt as we turned around about 200 ft. from the summit due to bad weather in early March. As we summited the weather moved in and it started snowing which turned to rain about the time we got back down to timberline. We had our snowshoes just in case but the snow looks to be pretty much gone - oh well, better to be over prepared and get weird looks by the others on the trail that were going up in shorts and tee shirts - WTF?...

Fresh Snow
The mountain got some fresh snow the night before and also the previous day. Along with the snow he trail was icy in places. MicroSpikes and a pole were helpful. No flotation needed. We had some wind on top along with some dark clouds. The day cleared and became sunny on our way down.
