Continuum In Crimson

(Extreme) telephoto view of Twin Butte's southern face (looking east) from near the Red Rock Loop Road in Sedona, Arizona. Yep, this EYE CANDY is habitually yours! "I carry the dust of a journey, That cannot be shaken away. It lives deep within me, Fore I breathe it every day. Come share of my breath and my substance, And mingle our streams and our times. In bright, infinite moments, Our reasons are lost in our rhymes ..." (from "Pictures At An Exhibition" - Emerson, Lake and Palmer - 1971) September 10, 2009

Really?

...These colors are so over saturated it looks like a cartoon. The view is nice from the top of both of them. There are pit houses on the summit. The east one is easier but the west one has many treasures.

Re: Really?

Thanks for the vote!

You seem to be extremely interested in
Native American ruins. Are you an archaeologist, by any chance ??? ?

Re: Really?

Nope...But I've seen a lot of things stolen. I'd see dolls, rugs, pottery and what not to go back and they would no longer be there.

Re: Really?

Was a report of the stolen articles given to
the Forest Service ??? ?

Nothing can be done unless the authorities are notified and forms filled out and handed over to law enforcement officials.

Re: Really?

Good point. I'm going to be there for a couple weeks in April. I'll do it. Thanks.

Re: Really?

Sounds great, Mark!

Please keep in mind that the "Brewer Road"
station isn't there anymore.

They built a multi-million dollar visitor
information facility on 179 just (a couple miles) south of the Bell Rock parking area.
