I survived the Billy Goat Trail or the Photographer Finally Gets Her Picture Taken!

Great Falls - Carderock - Billy Goat Trail October 2, 2010 Standing at the base of a staircase across the Chesapeake and Ohio Towpath I stopped to have my picture taken. The official photographer for every hike and every event finally gets her picture taken! And I feel pretty good for someone who just finished a few strenuous hours scrambling on the Billy Goat Trail! Thanks Eric, you are so kind! I was surprised to see how well I came through the warm day, scrambling up and over all the boulders, big traverse and keeping up with the kids I hiked with.

I hope to post at least one album by Monday with pics.

P.S.: Just today I did a hike myself, again in the Berchtesgaden region, on which there was a traverse that makes me feel like writing a trip report titled "I survived the Kahlersberg" or something like that - well, we'll see...
