Bizarre! Is it snow?Wonderful shot...but I can't tell whether that's snow or the natural color and texture of the formation. Is it snow?

Re: WoohoooThere are quite a few good ice climbs on Illumination Rock. Most of them have been put up by Wayne Wallace, a very strong and experienced Pacific Northwest Ice Climber. The easiest route is fairly difficult, AI3+ on difficult Rhime Ice over Frozen Choss.

Absolutely beautiful!Wish I could climb up to that point and see that view. There are just so many mind-boggling peaks out west. I can barely wait until my trip out there in 2005.
