Assumption of Mary and St. Michael's Archangel church in Haczow was built in the end of the 14th century. This is one of the six Wooden Churches of Southern Malopolska(Little Poland), on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites since 2003. Valuable figural wall paintings inside, dating from 1494 can be admired. The church has recently been renovated. Haczow church is one of the biggest gothic wooden churches in Europe.

Haczow village lies 10 kilometres west from Brzozow town and 42 km south of the regional capital Rzeszow(international airport) on the frontier of Pogorze Dynowskie Carpathian highlands.
