In the background: South Face...

In the background: South Face of Puig Major (1.447 m.), the highest peak of Mallorca. Some snow is still laying around. On the top there is a military instalation, so the area is restricted.

In the foreground, Alex (4 years) is waiting for the food to be ready. Photo taken on the route up to Morro de Cuber (951 m.) January 2005

Nice

Never knew Mallorca had such pretty hills...

Air Berlin has a new Domestic service there from Duesseldorf for a few bucks. Might check it out this winter.

Cheers!

Re: Nice

Thanks Leviathan.

When I have the time (in about 20 years, when my kids have grown up) I will put together a mountain-page about our hills. They are indeed nice, and it would be worth coming for some hiking, rock-climbing, MTB, canyons etc.
