amazing !

Those fallen beeches look giant when compared to that tent! gorgeous scenery.

Luk, what type of tent is that? I am currently looking for something ultralight planning my future trips.

Best greetings!

Re: amazing !

Thanks for your comments. I experienced two horrible storms there, but those fallen beech giants were already blown down before my arrival. Some more info about my tent JUREK SR 1 (CZ product) can be found here

Re: amazing !

Tomek,
Have you ever used Fjord Nansen tents/gear? (I haven't, relied on Coleman myself; I'd just like to know someone's opinion.)

Re: amazing !

Hi Jacku, I've been using some FN stuff in recent seasons. Backpack(worn out and stolen recently with my car...), summer sleeping bag and two-person tent that though its broken spine was travelling with me around the continent last year.

Cheaper brand, but my personal experience is good. If you're not going for extremes it should be great.

P.S.
Looking for some ultralight single-person tent just now that will be appropriable in winter conditions as I need to lose some weight on it while gaining approx. 2 kilos on snowshoes.

Pozdrawiam

Re: amazing !

Oh dear, where did you have your car stolen? In a city or in the mountains? Thanks for your opinion about FN, Tomek. As for winter (and non-winter too) conditions, I'm afraid I can only recommend some sleeping bags I discovered recently, namely these.

Re: P.S.

Thanks for the hint Jacek! As I check their website, the gear looks really solid, but I simply can't afford myself to spend a few hundred dollars for small tent only. I keep tabs on one model that I'm gonna check in Cracow soon.

Thanks again!

Re: amazing !

It will be 3 weeks on Tuesday since it was stolen straight from my house's door. No trace till now. Sad!

Exactly year ago I was driving it the most remote nooks of Scandinavian Far North...ehhhh

Re: dream bivy

I see. The more a man is missing the lost love, the more he wants to be out of this world.

I wish a lot of psychical strenght:-)
Take care
Lukas
