Inspiration Point
This is where most of the tourists stop, after an ascent of about 400 feet in 0.9 miles. This is also where the good stuff starts if you continue on through Cascade Canyon, for a total of about 4.5 miles to the forks of Cascade Creek. You won't be alone, but you'll see a lot fewer people. There was still intermittent snow patches in late June 2008.
