I hope you are well and enjoying some fine climbs this summer. My summer climbing season is off to a very slow start due to a lot of personal / family turmoil, but I'll get back into my groove. =)

Funny story...
One of Logan's nicknames is "Logy / Logie."
So, this past October, we met a dog in Iceland named Loki! Yes, that Norse god of Mischief!!!

Breed?What kind of mix is Logan? I've got a Great Dane/Lab who has a similar look.
Any Icelandic summits for you? Saw your profile page and wondered since I stood in that same spot and climbed some peaks when I was there a few years back.

Logan is...who knows? He was listed at Pueblo Humane Society as a pit mix. But...he's tiny, has a turned up nose and huge, floppy ears. My best guess is he's got some boxer in there someplace. He only weighs about 53 pounds (he's about 15 months old). He's fun and goofy like a pit, but he's very skittish. (I've had two pits - and they weren't afraid of ANYTHING! Sweet, but bold).
Do you have a link to pic of your Dan/Lab mix? I would love to see one.
We only got one peak in Iceland. The weather in October was atrocious, and Kiefer's sister - who was a very, very good sport - is not a climber and we made her miserable twice trying to drag her up peaks (and decided to stop that practice). So we mostly enjoyed food, scenery and culture. :) I would LOVE however to go back!

Re: Breed?Posted this one of the dogs. Grover is all black and is Lab/Dane. He is a rescue and was a homeless guy's dog who couldn't feed him and was badly malnourished so the hair didn't grow back around his eyes. But he's a healthy 75 pounds now. There might be other stuff in him, sometimes he looks Pit-ish and sometimes Boxer-ish too but mostly like a half sized Great Dane.
I hope to go back to Iceland sometime too for a few unfinished peaks!
