Re: Great shot Marc!There are three side-by-side formations there that produce "Court of The Patriarchs." They are very similar and this is the middle formation. I will post the other two in the future as well.

Re: big lump of rockThis is the mid afternoon sun and I was lucky to catch Zion after a snowstorm on a clear day. On all of my previous visits to Zion I had nothing but clouds and haze. This time I got lucky.

Re: Great colors!This is the middle formation of the "Court of the Patriarchs" The rocks are convoluted producing great contrast between light and shadows.

Re: Marc,Tim, you wont believe your eyes. It's like Yosemite except with red sandstone walls. When the rocks get wet by melting snow, you get all kinds of colors from white to black with everything in between. It's photographers paradise.
