Eastern part of High Tatra range from Prielom pass. The characteristic peak with huge summit snowy terraces in the foreground just above Velka Studena valley is Javorovy Stit(2417). In the background to the left just above one can see two-summitted Ladovy Stit massif(2628). To the right, slightly behind Javorovy, above Streleckie Polia snowfields you'll find Ostry Stit(2356) (on the left) and Siroka Veza(2466). Going further to the right, passing Priecna, Sokolia, Drobna Veza and Zlty Stit(2385) peaks the ridge culminates in Prostredny Hrot(2441) peak and then gets lower along impressive Kostoly crags to the south. Two, dark slihouettes of huge peaks in the far background are Pysny Stit(2623)(the left one) and Lomnica(2632). 26th April 2008 High Tatras

Re: ... and Tomek avalanched us

Oh, I didn't go anywhere, unfortunately. I was to go there with arturf (SP member), look for his last pictures of Mnich. They had terrible weather the whole week and when I wanted to join them for a weekend, they were gone home... Maybe later this year I will ascend those goals.

My mountaineering training is improving, I hope to ascend Bradavica or even Gerlachovsky stit from 20th till 22nd june. I'm looking forward to your more photos. Check my album at www.picasaweb.google.com/tomas.kristofory I will add more and publish some photos also here. Cheers Tomas :)
