Full-day hike from Biela voda
Finished off the list of hiker-accessible High Tatra peaks with this one. From the car park at Biela voda (usually fills up early morning, so I chose a weekday and a very early start from home) via Zelené pleso and back. Great sunny weather for most of the day, clouds only started to hide the sun on my way down. Great views from the top. The final section of the route was a bit more tiring than anticipated (a series of ups and downs on the ridge with a pick of exposure here and there) but at the same time enjoyable as well. This hike is over 20km in length and over 1300m ascent/descent, so if you are aiming for a less demanding climb, sleep overninght at the Zelené pleso hut and take the peak next morning.

Route Climbed: Marked Route from Zelene Pleso and then to Zadné Meďodoly Valley
Good weather in Červená dolina but right after reaching the summit the surroundings of Zelene Pleso had hidden in the clouds.. First meeting with Mountain Chamois. Unforgettable day.

Traverse
Starting from Predne Kopske Sedlo, along NE ridge (distinct path, no marks) up to the summit and down to Kolovy Priehod. Relaxing and easy route, unfortunately we had practically no chance to admire all surroundings because of clouds.
Done with Igi, Jck and Matti.
Started from Kopske sedlo: easy route, wonderful surrounding, no views at all (cloudy/foggy). Next followed the ridge to Kolovy stit.
Trip with Ania (Mooliczek), Igor (Igi) and Mateusz (Matti).
It was the first time I ever saw so many chamoises in Tatras :)

The day!
The last peak with signed route I've reached in the High-Tatras.
Many icy steps, some feeling that I'm walking on the border of life and death and the magnificent thing that I've reached the top of Jahnaci stit on a technically difficult day. Some day I'll return to feel all this again. Not honour, but humble. Now I'm happy with a glass of champagne, but I can not fell fear and pain...missing them...

I think the longest ascent in the High Tatra:easy start till Zelené pleso, than it becomes steeper, final part is a rocky ridge. But I warmly recommend this tour!
26.11.2016- climbed in winter conditions directly from Kolova valley via West Face.As always there- wonderful views!!
22.05.2016- via Jagnieca Ridge from Kolova valley. Fantastic few of Nordwand of Kolovy.Wonderful and wild area.Climbed with Ania.
2005-2006.I climbed in October before closing routes in Slovakian Tatras with a little snow and in July.I love this summit.Great views to Kiezmarski and Lomnicki Summit

Western ridge
Unfortunatelly the winter conditions stopped us. We should have had to cross an icy ledge. We didn't bring a rope so lack of belaying we didn't risk and turned back from 30-40m under the summit.
Next time we bring a rope... :-)
