Jasmine and the freezing Island Lake

The outlet of the lake is just South of the island, and it is a mini-lake in its own right, separated from the main body of water by a shallow constriction with a few rocks, so it is possible to rock-hop across the narrow spot. This is the biggest of the rocks dividing the lake. View SE across the minor lake. Check this picture by Scott Patterson for an overview of the lakes and the chain boulder in between.
