Jenny Peak and Area

Jenny Peak is Point 6310. To climb it, drop into the wash near the confluence of Clear Creek and Pine Creek. Then work to the base of the north ridge and scramble (Class 3 and 4, sometimes exposed) to Point 5787. Shortly beyond Point 5787, an area closure begins, and you cannot legally climb Jenny Peak. But if you ignore the signs (not recommended) or if the closure is lifted, then the rest of the route is an easy Class 2-3 ramble to the summit block. I have read that there is a Class 2+ way up from Gifford Canyon. Whether that is in the closed area or there are signs indicating it, I do not know (but I suspect it is affected, too).
