ExcellentGreat shot of Aetna and surrounding peaks. The San Juans could be clearly seen from this spot back in the 70s. It's not that way any more. Thanks for this submission.

Re: ExcellentI'd say you're probably right on the whole, Aaron. But Erin and I saw Uncompahgre distinctly and clearly from Tabeguache's summit in late May of 2002, so it's still possible!

Re: ExcellentHey Ryan! I remember seeing Uncompahgre from old Monarch Pass in '78 and thought that was impressive. Gunnison Valley sees a lot of haze now days and views from the Sawatch of the San Juans with any clarity are a rarity for me.
