A wild scenery directly in front of the feet of the Jungfrau massive: The hanging glaciers are so steep that they threaten to break into the valley of Trümmelbach below. The lonesome alp of Prech is a wonderful viewpoint to watch the avalanches of the smelting glacier ice. It sounds like thunder and the wonderful echoes at this point strengthen this singular impression of wilderness. Photo of 4th August, 2008
