I think the ridge route is British (Boardman, Scott, Tasker with Bettembourg), the direct is Messner variant.

ridge rout correct...but 2nd rout...I'm not sure ... it looks like Japan rout (1980). Messner did his variant in 1982 and it was a link between Japan and Boardman-Tasker routs. As I remamber Messner joined B-T rout in it's lower part - camp4 seems to high for me. Need to find an old photo at home.

Brade's right. Messner climbed the spur to the ridge little above the North Col (1982).
