Thanks a lot for the vote! Indeed, Khan Tengri is one of the flagships among my pages. Merzbacher lake is an upredictable thing, some years the breaking is a gentle process, - When I was there in 1996 it caused not much hinderence -, but in other years its a devastating flash flood.
