Re: Greetings from AZ ....Thank You Icarreau what about this pink-purple plant in Tatras it is so called "wierzbówka" in polish (Lat. Epilobium spicatum or Epilobium angustifolium) I mean "willow-herb" in English .I don't know exatly if it is the same fireweed. Perhaps it is

So, you have fireweed - very interesting!
(In Alaska, I observed "willow-herb" or
Epilobium latifolium growing out on the tundra. I must conclude that these
plants grow in very damp areas.

Really this plant is growing in Gasienicowa Valley the place where a lot of mountain tarns you can meet.
