La Grivola from an unusual point of view
La Grivola 3969m and Punta Bianca 3793m from an unusual point of view, the interior of a still snow-clad tunnel along the Nivolet road, whose construction was luckily stopped in the early '70. Its goal was the connection of the Aostan and Piedmontese sectors of Gran Paradiso National Park, but the possible consequences on the ecosystem were hardly predictable. (Photo by my wife Patrizia)
