Laguna Verde seen from up...

Laguna Verde seen from up high. The walk in to the peak (from the Chilean side) starts from the right corner of the lake. You'll see El Fraile clearly from here and (looking from the lake) you will also see the impressive Incahuasi left of El Fraile. Incahuasi at 6621m is the dominating peak in this area of the Puna.

Thanks for the nice words Alex.
It's a beautiful place. So many snow capped volcanoes and colorful lagoons. One of my favorite places for climbing and trekking.

A perfect day for climbing. It was late in the season, but no wind and quite warm. Had a great summit day.
