In the foreground is the villiage of Langtang (~12,000' / 3,600m), the largest villiage in the upper valley. In the background is Gangchempo (~21,100' / 6,400m), the beautiful peak that frames the valley. Tilman, with typical understatment called it "Fluted Peak" Langtang Lirung is around the corner to the left.

I can't imagine waking up every morning to a scenery like this. With hubris, I'd claimed this to be my backyard :D
