Larger than life

The first view up the Emmons-Winthrop route is just a little intimating. I remember thinking, how am I going to find our way through that crevasse field? That next morning we were the second team out, and I watched as the first team's headlamps took a left at 12,500 and they got stuck at a big berg - I chose to go right luckily. Mt. Rainier 7/27/09
