...a great profile pic! Love the flying sparks.
Yep, it made me gasp with awe, too. Of course, it is one of those rare moments which look better in a photograph than in realworld :) but gotta appreaciate that!
nice and fantastic shot ! Thanks for sharing . Cheers , Vahid .
Thanks, Vahid! Real thanks go to the author of the picture, Bruce.
I just happened to be there in the shot LOL.
Thanks a lot! It's a great inspiration to hear it from someone with as cool a collection of pictures as yours.
But give all the credits for this shot to Bruce!
Thanks a lot, Romek, and condolescences for the loss of your friend. May the mountains stand like eternal monuments! Eternity for us is but a moment for them.
What a great shot MOCKBA.
Thanks! Lone Peak is a beautiful mountain and this picture does it great service IMO :)
Please pass along my compliments to your friend on such a nice shot.
Thanks Bob! I kind of "traded" it for another profile-quality shot made at exactly the same spot - but looking at the opposite direction. I am starting to feel that maybe it wasn't a perfectly fair trade LOL.
I like that other one just as much for the action and perspective it shows. The original I commented on is more artistic, but yours is just as good in its own ways.
...this shot is truly fantastic! what a perfect motivation for the guy with the camera to make the last few steps.
What a great and nice shot MOCKBA. Thanks
Makes me want to get up there.
Thanks! We actually tried to remix the same shot this winter. There was no wind but ZeeJay kicked the snow a few times, sending a shower of crystals flying into the air. Alas, it didn't turn out that good on camera! Hard to time is right :) The real blowing snow works a lot better...
A rare shot. V. nice.
Beautiful shot! It almost makes me hear music in my head as you reach the top! With the spark of the sun and the spray of snow!! Awesome! Thanks for sharing
final meters before the summit, superb shot
Nice capture with the forward scatter of the sun's rays off the snow spray!
