Leaf Beetle

This Leaf Beetle (Dlochrysa fastuosa) is called in Polish Z³otka jasnotowa. It belongs to the family Chrysomelidae. This pretty insect is about 5-7 milimeters long and it does not mind posing for photographs. In Poland it can be found in forests and meadows. It especially likes plants from the family Lamiaceae (Mint Family). The Low Beskid - Meadow on Mount Dzial - Summer 2007.
