UnusualReally interesting photo. I like it in B&W. But it's unsual and strange...isn't it? I can see beautifull mountain, then I look down and there is some factory...
It looks sad...

Yes, it is strange indeed. The b/w increases on the one hand the impression of the peak's beauty, but also on the other hand the grey, dark character of the industry below.

Thanks for the kind compliment. Yes, I took this myself in April 2005 during an impression-rich journey through Armenia that caused a deep fascination for the Caucasus.

Personally I like that one a lot too. But one has to look closer at the photo to discover all the little details in it - the power stations, roads, industy, the clouds the slopes of the mountain and the slope of Great Aragats rising to the right.
