Loafer Mountain

Loafer Mountain

Loafer Mtn is two feet higher than Santaquin and as a result, those who seek to climb the highest peak should get them both. Santaquin has the best views and a nice summit while Loafer is kind of a dud in both categories. Yet, it is the highest so I bucked it up and hiked em both. Santaquin is just to the left and out of the picture in this shot. 9-8-07

So is Santaquin the one with...

Yes. Loafer is kind of low key looking mountain with nothing to really catch your eye.

I guess I only did Santaquin peak then, cause I opened the mail box and signed the log box. Next time I'll have to hit Loafer as well. I have been wondering about the difference, because it is confusing as on Santaquin peak is a sign that says Loafer! Thanks for clearing it up!

I came so close to doing that since I figured the Loafer mtn trail was taking me to Loafer Mtn. Another hiker came up and pointed out Loafer Mtn to me when I proudly proclaimed that it was nice to get Loafer Mtn done (which was in this case Santaquin)> I was just a bit luckier than you.
