Lone Eagle Peak from Mount Toll

Lone Eagle Peak from Mount Toll

Lone Eagle Peak and the ridge that connects it to "Iroquois" seen from the summit of Mt. Toll to its northeast. The ramp of the Solo Flight route can be easily made out, covered in snow. Behind Lone Eagle are the twin summits of "Hopi" and, further right, part of the Hopi glacier. The Gore Range forms the background. June 2005.

Re: Lone Eagle

Yes, you can find Lone Eagle Peak by starting from the snow cap on top of Hopi and coming down. I find that this view inspires respect for the Mohling Traverse (from Lone Eagle to Iroquois).
