Long-legged Beauty

Long-legged Beauty

This frog was completely submerged in water of a small natural pool deep in Black Velvet Canyon. Notice its very longs legs- a characteristic feature of all adult frogs. A tiny Pacific Tree Frog photographed on route to Hidden Peak in Red Rocks, Nevada. April 2007.

Amazing!

You have a real knack for finding the small beauty most of us would miss en route through the larger landscape.

Re: Amazing!

Thank you for the nice compliment. I am always looking for the signs of life everywhere I go. It makes my day more fulfilling than just running up a mountain. Cheers.
