A few years ago  Sucess!

I thought this was a pretty fun climb, and not too terrible effort for a cool tower summit. We did it in 3 pitches: 1st pitch the chossy blocky stuff into the chimney and then a long walk into the back; 2nd pitch up the steep part of the chimney (my very tall partner lead this and we both agreed it was definitely harder than 5.8 with extremely wide stemming- bring a #6!), and 3rd pitch bolt ladder, which I led, and at 5'8" didn't find it very difficult or reachy. I miss this area!

Longbow Chimney, 5.8, C1, 2 Pitches  Sucess!

Not a route I can recommend per se but worth climbing if you are an avid Moab tower bagger. Despite being one of the easiest towers to climb near Moab, it was one of the last for me to get to. It is chossy and half of it requires aid, but of course any tower day is a good one. I led both pitches. The chossy start sucked, but of course the hidden corner in the chimney was awesome. The aid has a lot of bad hardware as of 2023, but if you have a ball or two, you stand a good chance of surviving. In 2011, some of it was replaced. If you are short, less than 5'9" the C1 will feel more like C2. A good route to combine with Super Natural which is an outstanding free climb on the north face of Parriott Mesa.
