Nice and greenI had a discussion with Radek on the similarities between the City of Rocks and Monte Limbara on Sardinia. From your picture the city appears to be much greener (different kind of green anyway)

in the City of Rocks is granite, whereas the
rock composition of Monte Limbara (in Sardinia)
is entirely limestone and dolomite.

Awsome Shot!!Love that area and this shot inspires me to visit it this year - will make it out there in the fall hopefully (kind of a crazy weekend outing from Portland.....but well worth it IMHO). Thanks for submitting Dean!

Re: Awsome Shot!!OK, Radek. Here's one I couldn't remember the name of. It came from the same area as the shot posted on this page. If you know it, let me know so I can add it to the caption. This area was so interesting. This little tower would have made a fun climb even for Bob and I.
