Looking south from not far...

Looking south from not far above the saddle leading to the final summit ridge, this shows the slabs which must be crossed, which with snow on them (early in the year crampons and an ice axe would be a necessity), or during inclement weather, would be extremely difficult and dangerous. The route comes up and around the point on the right. Buck Peak is the big mountain on the left. Photo by Vernon, July 30, 2005.
