Looking up Arch Rock steps

Alum Cave Bluff Trail At 1.3 miles from the trail head, you encounter Arch Rock, a huge natural black slate arch. Using the cables is mandatory when the steps are wet and can help to distract you from any claustrophobia. My son was concerned that I stopped while walking up the stairs to take this picture!
