Is that a University of Southern California logoon the tail of the plane? Must be the Harding/Rowell side of the semi-dome.

Re: Is that a University of Southern California logoNo, Half Dome is just above the cockpit. The right side is the Cables Route. The left side is Snake Dike and Autobaun.
The squadron logo (Greek war helmet) is based on Homers characters; Jason and the Argonauts.
