Overview

Fagaras Mountains are part of Southern Carpathians and include the highest mountain of Romania - Moldoveanu (2544 m.a.s.l.). Stretching for more than 70 kilometers, Fagaras Mountains are the longest continuous ridge of the Carpathians. Also known as "Transylvanian Alps", they offer to a daring hiker a unique feeling of walking on the clouds and beeing in a nice and quiet place in the middle of nature.

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
