For me it depends on what the aiders are attached to & what lies below :) ...but in this case it was a ton of work for us -- pleasure comes from being in this exposed position for days on end (where our free skills will never get us into). Anway, thanks for visiting Martin! cheers.
I enjoyed this account which will serve as inspiration for my more menial wanderings into the local hills ! LOL ! (Mind you , I will never, and I repeat, NEVER be prepared for such climbs up vertical slopes ! )

fact is that once you're busy (and that is essentially all the time), you have not time/opportunity to consider exposure as a whole (only as far as what you might hit, ledge etc... should a piece blow...even that is not really a concern on a C2 aid line).
