Interesting!

When I did the Lyskamm traverse in august 2016 there was no summit rock visible on Lyskamm east. All snow and ice.
I liked the descend on the east ridge very much, such a beautiful, narrow and airy snow ridge ...

Hello Michael,
i think that this fact certainly depends on the variable conditions related to the amount of precipitation!
I instead did the East ridge in ascent, then reversing the same route, because i had just climbed the Western Lyskamm some years before! Both the ascents are wonderful, but the East ridge is something special!
