You take a great photo yourself!Very nice - we nearly went for this ourselves in July - and one of our party of 3 later did go for it. But at the time we did the 'traverse of the tops' and Dufourspitze Italian route instead.

lotsOf fresh powder.
This was last year when we just had a wild idea and got blown of Grand cornier due to too much fresh snow.
Several years ago i did the complete traverse of de Monte Rosa as wel,incl. cherry on the cake, the traverse of Dufourspitze from Margeritahut, so thats why i can imagine how that feels.

Cresta Sella?Isn't it eighter the south ridge named Cresta Sella? The east ridge should be the normal route with steep snow slopes to the north wall. Or is this maybe the ridge between Lyskamm East and Lyskamm West?
